Caucus & Meeting on March 2

We are having our caucus and next meeting on Saturday, March 2, starting at 11am, in the Brighton Library meeting room (40 Academy Hill Road).

The caucus is being held to elect delegates from Ward 21 to the 2013 Massachusetts Democratic Convention, which will be in Lowell on July 13.

Following the caucus we will have a committee meeting, with representatives from Ed Markey and Stephen Lynch's campaigns invited to speak about the candidates running to replace John Kerry in the US Senate.

All are welcome to attend.  To be eligible to vote in the caucus or be a delegate to the convention, you must have been a registered Democrat in Ward 21 by December 31, 2012.  You can check your voter registration at www.cityofboston.gov/elections/voter

Legislative Update Panel Discussion

On January 31, we enjoyed a lively discussion with four of our state legislators about topics including the MBTA, housing and development in our area, and electoral reforms.  Thanks to all who participated, especially Senator Will Brownsberger, Senator Sal DiDomenico, Representative Mike Moran and Representative Kevin Honan.
